Sounds like Kevin Willard is running for the hills as soon as their run is over.
Then Mike Locksley weighed in -

For us to be really successful, x, y and z need to change," Willard said earlier this week, per Yahoo Sports. "First and foremost, I need to make sure where we are with NIL and rev share... Over the past two years, we've been one of the worst, if not lowest with NIL the past two years." Willard pointed to a specific instance when Maryland was playing at Madison Square Garden and was told by the administration they couldn't afford to stay another night in New York City. He also said that negotiations on a contract extension have stalled after athletics director Damon Evans left for SMU. "Obviously, it's difficult right now because I think we know his situation," Willard said. "He's probably going to SMU, so it's kind of tough to negotiate with somebody that's maybe not here."
Then Mike Locksley weighed in -

I'm an old-school D.C. guy. Family business is family business, so I really have no comment on it," Locksley said per Football Scoop. "If it doesn't pertain to my business, if it doesn't pertain to what I need to do...as I've stated, since I've been here, I have gotten the resources that I have needed to build a foundation." "I've learned in 33 years of coaching, there are no utopias. Every family has their issues and dirty little secrets, but I'm of the opinion that those are handled individually and behind closed doors within the family ranks."

Bet he goes to SMU and gets a fatass NIL from David Miller, their largest booster. Worth about $8billion and gives a ton to SMU. Played basketball their in the 70's and wants to see the rise to national prominence again. If Houston can, SMU damn sure can.
