The last time AU was a 1 seed was 1999, where they were beaten by tOSU (4 seed) in the sweet 16.

The closest we ever got in the Big XII was 2003 when Texas and Oklahoma were #1 seeds and Kansas was a #2 seed.
OU made the elite 8
Texas made the final 4
Kansas made the final
But Syracuse won the Big XII title and beat all three of us (as well as #6 seed Oklahoma State)
Their only two games vs non-BXII teams were Manhattan and Auburn.
