Someone recently made an argument to me that wealthy donors who typically fund political campaigns are now paying athletes to play college sports at their alma mater instead, and are trading political influence for recruiting classes.

Not sure how significant or binary this is, but figured it might be a fun off-season thought exercise for a swing state...

Would you rather have UGA get the best athletes every season, or a "purple" Georgia votes the way you want it to every year?

Good topic.

I would settle for a compromise of a guaranteed top 3 recruiting class and a governor and electoral college votes go the way I want for politics.

Willing to leave congress seats up to chance and trust our other states to carry the load for us.

I never want to see a POTUS in office again like Joe Biden. He should have been removed. I don't give a frick about this version of "college football".

Burt Jones will be the next governor of Georgia, and Burt Jones and his dad have plenty of money and don't need yours. If you have a serious hole in your pocket, help Kirby keep someone like Justus Terry home next time.

Mind Blown...Shawn Ryan Interviews Lindi Li

Confirms damn near everything we've been saying for years.

I've only donated ridiculous ticket prices. I don't feel it's worth it now.

Georgia football is one of my few passions, but I’d rather us go 0-12 from here on out than to be under the rule of TODAY’s Democratic Party. 25-40 years ago I would have said differently but these frickers are moon bat crazy. I don’t want their “fundamentally transformed” version of America for my grandkids.

I wish the government didn’t have so much power. That way we would t have to be worried about politics 24/7.

What about the power of NGOs and corporations? They seem more dangerous than the government these days.
