Other than baseball natties a few years ago, has it gotten any better for Vandy?

Was just saying this in the hoops thread. Gotta be a top three year in school history at this point on those three wins alone.

Personally, I’ll take either baseball natty year over this but it’s been really fun.

Baseball natty any day over beating anyone in a regular season basketball or football game. However, things are looking up on West End.

Now just bring the facilities up to par. Memorial Gymnasium needs a gut renovation even more than the Money Pit house circa 1986.

2011 - 2013 was a VERY good period for them. People forget that.
Basketball - Kevin Stallings had good teams that were ranked and made the tournament. They won 23 games in 2011 and 25 games in 2012.
Baseball - Corbin obviously had things humming along. 54 wins in 2011 and 2013. World Series in 2011, Regional Final in 2012 and Super Regional in 2013. Not their best run obviously but it would be at almost any other school.
Football - James Franklin led them to three straight bowl games including back to back 9-4 records with a final ranking of #23 and #24 in the AP poll, the first time since 1948 that Vandy finished ranked in the AP poll.

2013-14 was a good sports school year.
Football went 9-4 (4-4 in conference) with wins over UGA, UF, UT, & UK. Beat Houston in the BBVA Compass Bowl. Franklin’s last year.
Baseball won their 1st National Championship.
