Since July programs have been allowed to have unlimited on-field assistant coaches, but it doesn't seem like many are taking advantage of it. I personally wish tht Georgia would hire at least one associate offensive line coach and one associate wide receiver coach.

Texas A&M just paid somebody $450,000 to come be an assistant coach but they're not a traditional position coach (one of the 10)? Why not have 20 assistant coaches? It'd probably be an argument before more brainpower vs. too many voices in the room.

There comes a point where having more assistants doesn't pay off. It's helps with Co-OC/DC's so you can have 1 on the field and 1 in the booth, and position coaches so you don';t have to group positions together, but other than that there is no real use.
