Did NOT expect him to be this good as a rookie - especially given the fact that he was a dink and dunk specialist in college. But seems like Payton has helped upskill him big time.

I’m looking forward to the Washington game tonight. I want to see how far Jayden can take this team in his first season.

Malzahn and Harsin almost broke Nix. He was always a good QB - he just needed the right situation. And as a QB, it doesn’t get much better than Sean Payton.

If Chicago drafted him this wouldn't be the conversation. When talent meets coaching and scheme it's a beautiful thing. Otherwise, that same player can look like a 9 car pileup.

Legit forgot he was a rookie TBH, yeah dude is doing awesome though, was looking at stats for today and his line for the year is close to Josh Allen’s with a few more INTs

I agree with your take. Nix has been a surprise. Caleb Williams is in a bad situation, but I think he’s also not the team player that Nix and JD are.

It’s true. Auburn really shite the bed and haven’t had a serviceable quarterback since.
