With all the transfers I think you have to take the first couple weeks with a grain of salt as teams figure out who can do what and play actual games with eachother. By the end of Thanksgiving most teams have played 4-5 games and probably played at least 1-2 legitimate opponents, figured some stuff out and gotten their lineups better situated.

Here are the Torvik Rankings of play since December 1st

Overall Rank (Record) (Off, Def)

2. Auburn (7-1) (1, 22)

4. Florida (6-1) (3, 19)

9. Alabama (7-0) (10, 35)

10. Mississippi State (8-0) (15, 29)

12. Texas A&M (7-0) (41, 4)

19. Tennessee (7-1) (116, 2)

23. Ole Miss (7-1) (75, 14)

26. Vanderbilt (6-1) (28, 58)

31. Missouri (6-2) (23, 78)

37. Georgia (6-1) (143, 12)

41. Kentucky (5-3) (12, 149)

44. Texas (5-3) (36, 66)

53. Oklahoma (6-2) (14, 190)

63. Arkansas (6-2) (74, 65)

74. LSU (5-3) (96, 76)

104. South Carolina (6-2) (175, 82)

Overall Nationally
1. Houston (7-0) (18, 1)
2. Auburn
3. Duke (8-0) (7, 5)
5. Arizona (6-1) (3, 19)
6. Illinois (6-2) (22, 6)
7. Iowa State (8-0) (17, 9)
8. Michigan (6-2) (9, 32)
9. Alabama
10. Mississippi State

20. UConn (7-1) (4, 127)
24. Kansas (4-3) (92, 8)
34. Gonzaga (6-3) (21, 95)
50. North Carolina (6-3) (79, 46)
60. Memphis (6-2) (86, 57)

It's weird to think of our offense at #10 when we're averaging over 93 points per game. I imagine our 3-pointer efficiency is dragging that metric down (even though we're #3 from inside the arc).

we've adjusted well after replacing Wrightsell but there is going to be growing pains especially with Youngblood coming back from injury

its good we're putting up these numbers while still figuring things out

We end up with 2+ possessions most trips down the floor due to the 3pt issues + offensive rebounding.

Shooting percentage down bc you can't add in the gun shooting/murder statistic of 2 years ago. Give it time though.

If I lost to a team 10 times in a row, I’d be angry too.

Why would we want to emulate a team that didn't make the final four when have a team a year later that did make the final four?

Seems stupid.

Auburn isn't just #1 in offense right now. Right now it's the most efficient basketball offense ever at this point in time.
