These worked way better back when Bama was in the national title hunt every year. Now it just seems sort of sad and attention starved.

Oh man, I remember back when—what was that team again—Clemson won a couple of titles with an ex-Alabama coach and they were kings of the mountain for a while.
You could see his trajectory start to head down too if you really looked close. And that guy was way better than 1–6 against us!
Who was that before them that won a few years ago and everybody said they'd take over the sport? Yeah, I can't quite recall who that was back then either.
It's hard to remember all those flashes in the pan over the past five, six, or seven decades isn't it?
But I'm sure it'll be different this time.
