Would a College basketball NET system work in College football??

Maybe break down college football into 5 Quads. Wouldn’t it be a better representation of strength of schedule? Would make out of conference games against other P4’s more important at the end of the year as well.

YES!

We could work SOS into a computer algorithm, just like the NET.

And then rank the teams accordingly, and pick the top teams from that.

Maybe we could call it the BCS Rankings.

Humor me.

A team could end the year at 10-2, but if the losses are to two Quad 4’s, they are out.

Anyone who follows CBB knows road losses to average high major teams are never Q4 losses.

Home losses to bad mid majors are, though.

No. The sample size isn’t as extensive.
