Nothing official….probably too soon after a late night. But I saw a post that is he is out for the season….FWIW. It won’t surprise me seeing how his throwing arm was just hanging….even when he came in to hand off to Etienne for the winning TD.

Torn ucl would be worst case scenario…let’s wait and see…no one on the internet despite what they say knows anything at this point.
Until it’s said otherwise he has 4 weeks to rest and will be fine come play offs. Our kicker is a bigger concern to be honest.

If I am a HC assured of a spot in the playoffs I tell my players to opt out of the SECCG and if people ask me why, I show them a pic of beck in a arm sling on the sidelines.

Players can get hurt in any game it is a contact sport. Having home field in the playoffs is huge.

But probably not as huge as not risking your top players.

Is it worth losing your 1st string QB?......Even better, Beck is a first rounder in the NFL draft. Was it worth having major surgery while draft evals are taking place that could cost him millions in drafts status?

The NFL team that drafts Carson Beck in the 1st round, will screw themselves for years.

That same played occurred the first time we played Texas…that was on coaching squarely….. we have a kicker that can kick it a mile accurately we should have attempted a 60yard kick instead of hanging beck with a slow developing Hell Mary play…imho

Otherwise eff all that jazz..the sport has been irreparably ruined enough let’s not contribute to it more.. uga earning bye and the 2 seed is huge.

Playing at home in the playoffs and getting a bye is too much to rest guys. Especially if you have to travel up north. Also not even mentioning these kids get paid to play so…play.

So what your saying is…do away with college football because the purpose of it is an extension of the nfl..I agree…it should be a separate minor pro league. Other wise if they are gonna play for universities what the hell does it have to do with the nfl? And they get paid now on top of that..no offense but the opinion you have seems to align with a significant part of the fuel and fire that has destroyed this college game..

Clearly a better choice, but Kirby kirbs it up sometimes

Again, we could do that and it’s an entirely different animal of a topic.. but like I said our coaches made the same decision earlier in the year against Texas and he could have just as easily been injured. These athletes get paid money and play a violent sport…shite happens..why would we coddle them..that seems really strange to me…jmo
