Right. The same boosters who pay BK are the same boosters who are bankrolling NIL. I'm sure these conversations are going on at every major football program. Why pay "Head Coach X" $10 mil/year when we get a younger guy, pay him $5-$7 mil/year and surround him with elite coordinators and position coaches and put the saved money towards NIL?

I said 5-7. LSU has been at the top of college football coaching staff budget along with Bama for nearly 20 years now. Y'all had Les and we had Saban and both of us still had to pay top dollar for assistants and support staff. Assistant coaches aren't cheap.
