The real MVP if SMU wins and Alabama makes the playoff is Pete Golding

Ole Miss would be 10-2 and easily in the playoffs had they gotten 1 stop in 3 situations on 4th and 5, 4th and 6, and 4th and 7 in game losing or tying drives late in regulation.
Based on NFL conversion percentage the odds of a team failing to stop their opponent in all three situations is only 8.1%
Good work Pete

This is stupidity.
We can flip it on its head too.
Rebs are 10-2 if Tre Harris, the leading receiver in the nation, catches the wide open TD pass against LSU in the first quarter OR our kicker makes a simple 38 yarder in the first half (he later boomed a 57 yarder in OT).

We all know Pete has a few ice cold brews in that "Gatorade" cup late in games.

It has to STING to be an Ole Miss fan. They were so damn close to not only being in the playoff but competing for a top spot with an SECCG win.

LSU wins in regulation if they don't miss a 46 yard FG, fail on 4th and 1 from the OM 35, or drop 2 TD passes. We can all play these games
