OT: For those of you who are fans of the Jacksonville State Gamecocks...

I have a treat for y'all. The 1992 Division II National Championship Game between Pittsburg State and Jacksonville State. The Gamecocks from Jacksonville, AL emerged victorious by the score of 17-13.

Brad and Gary on the call, What is interesting is this was before they were considered the A Team and they just called the game straight. Not a bad broadcast at all. Just goes to show what happens to people when success goes to their head I guess.

My alma mater and I was there. It was my greatest football season because both the Gamecocks and the Tide won national championships.

More likely you had no emotional investment and thus didn't get triggered by every little thing the way many of us do when watching a broadcast of an Alabama game.

Could be right. But they weren’t officiating the game from the booth on every play like they do now.

My dad graduated from JSU in '80 and was at the '91 game against Pittsburg State that they lost. I attended JSU from 2006-08 before transferring to Alabama. I was on the ROTC push-up team.
They're easily my second favorite team.
