We had a favorable home SEC schedule this year. Next year our home schedule is Tennessee, Vandy, LSU, and Oklahoma. Away schedule is Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri and the Barn. All four are tough places to play, but 3 of them I don’t believe we win without elite QB play. Just my opinion.

We don’t need elite QB play, we need a QB that can run the offense as it is designed. That means reading the defense and not predetermining which guy you are going to throw to before breaking the huddle and staring him down and not keeping the ball on the read option 90% of the time because you want it.

Georgia and Auburn are the only two tough road games. Then throw in at FSU and Wisconsin at home and another year further away from Saban means a less talented team.

Face it, a losing season is a possibility if the coaching staff doesn't get gutted.

All we need is Greg McElroy level QB play. Someone who can read a defense and doesn't try to play hero ball every play.

Heck, I'd take Blake Sims over this guy. Someone who actually recognizes he has room to improve and puts in the effort to do that.
