It's going to be tough getting four SEC teams into the playoff

There are multiple teams who might make the playoff, that would likely have a losing record in the SEC

Looking at you ... BYU, Indiana, Clemson, Boise State, SMU, Miami and Notre Dame

It's an apples & oranges comparison as none of them have played a competitive schedule

Not sure you can put Notre Dame in that group considering they’ve beat an A&M team that the SEC is struggling with this year.

South Carolina is not making the playoff and they destroyed A&M

Give Notre Dame an SEC schedule and see if they're .500 at the end of conference play

and SC was so close to beating Bama and LSU. They were a play or two away from being in the playoff mix.

Yep no more than 3 will get in from the SEC barring some big upsets elsewhere in the next couple of weeks.

What good SEC teams have struggled with Texas A&M this year?

Notre Dame would deserve it more than Penn St.
