That shite Ernest Green did on that last drive infuriated me - fricker gave up on that play and allowed the sack/fumble, then just walked off the field. Don’t think I’ve ever seen the OL play this bad.

Many of Mark Richt’s OLs were bad and way worse than this group.

This play here was when I knew that there is no fixing this.
Earnest Greene is useless
The whole oline is bad. No chemistry.

It looks like they were blocking for an inside screen. Which would’ve been right about 50% of the time with our play calling….but not so much on a handoff.

Our offense looked completely out of sync most of the game.
There are 2 members of our football organization responsible for synchronization of the offense: Bobo and Beck.

4 four stars and 6 three stars isn't what I would call championship level recruiting.

scary isn' t it? Goes in line with my longer post earlier about lack of talent. In 2 full recruiting classes we've kinda sorta hit on two guys total; both at tackle and neither one really being much to write home about. Whiffed on the rest.

Idc who your OC is or how much other tlaent you got on the field, you aren't gonna win championships with OLs like that.

We better devote A TON of money this portal season to the LOS or we're going to be in rough shape next year.

For the FL game, I thought our OL was decent. I thought Beck had some time to throw the ball to our receivers and the defense.

Teams tend to look better against inferior and incompetent competition.

But, I can't remember any of his teams being next to last in the SEC in offensive rushing yards per game.

Never seen a play as bad as that one for an OL. I just dont have a clue how they could miss ALL of them.

It's much more the latter than the former. The QB is the captain of the ship. He has to know every route, every read, every blocking assignment, everything before he takes a snap, if something goes wrong or is wrong pre-snap, it's up to him to fix it. Bobo can call the greatest play, but if the QB steers the ship wrong, that's on him and not the OC

Understood and I agree but the OC still needs to recruit at a high level and scheme vs specific teams to avoid mismatches which unfortunately we seem to have aplenty.
I'm really hoping we can bounce back at home vs Tennessee.
We don't have a championship team this season but with a 12 team playoff, I think we can squeeze in with 2 losses which I expected.
We had a brutal schedule this year with 3 top 10 teams on the road.
I have no idea why we are favored vs the Vols but hopefully the odds makers have rational insight.
Regardless, Gooooooo Dawgs!! Sic'em!!
