I’ll agree in a different sense. Particularly Searles for the OL. Recruiting is what has been subpar. He basically knows he can’t land the 5 star guy so we’re just recruiting enormous 3 and 4 stars and trying to develop them. Not working so far. Unless Freeling develops, I don’t see a tackle on the roster with the athleticism to stand up to the type of defense we saw yesterday.

Goofies will blame Coley in his first year as if he inherited the 2018 Bama receiver room because Dillon Bell had a few good games last year. If you’re mad about receiver play, blame BMac, the transfer portal, and Rara and Young for getting themselves in situations. We have a bunch of role players trying to be every down guys.

The other guy I’m not high on so far is Williams the db coach (TRob as well). he’s supposed to be a big recruiter and that’s not looking anything impressive so far. Combine that with a secondary that returned 2 starters and Dirty Dan who knows the system front and back and I can’t figure out where the hell the busts are coming from. At least Coley inherited very meh receivers and has 2 studs committed. We have talent in the secondary but they don’t play well consistently at all.
