No reason to bench Thorne….

Next years QB is not in the roster and Thorne is the best we have right now. Hugh is about to dumb the NIL bag on a QB and give Deuce a year or 2 to develop. We going in dry on the SEC next year, a shite ton of freshman making plays this year will be a better version of themselves next year, remember we are in a rebuild, not a reload.

The reason being he gives AU a greater chance to win compared to the other QB’s on the roster, even if that chance isn’t very high. I don’t think anyone is arguing AU has a good QB situation right now.
Honestly, maybe the NIL collective should make an app to auction off playing time. All the message board QB’s can put their money where their mouth is.

I agree with this but if Hank and Walker can get some real experience it’s better for the program but not better for the 2024 team.
Start Hank give Walker every 3rd or 4th series and give Hank the entire Bama game. If we could sneak out a win against the boys from Turd town at least we would have something to build on. That give both some in game experience and doesn’t mean we shouldn’t go get the best QB we can for next season. We will still need a backup for next year and prep for the battle for ‘26 season QB

I could get down with Walker getting some reps as long as he doesn’t burn his red shirt, but at this point Thorne gives us a better chance the Hank.

Actually, the fact that the portal exists and we got worse is a pretty bad sign going forwards. Recruiting is great. They will leave for the big programs that are winning soon enough.

Yea there is, just for the accountability aspect of it all. You cant let the team see that his idiotic play is acceptable, I would rather fo down with aggressive mistakes than fricking chicken shite play.

the evidence does not support your beliefs. Thorne does NOT give us the best chance of winning. He loses. We have two YEARS of evidence. We have one HALF of inconsistent play from Hank Brown.
