This is what Scott is up to. He was in AA in Athens for years, supposed to be anonymous but my wife's brother was in his group and it's hard to keep secrets no matter how hard you try.

His shite is all out there now so I don't feel bad posting about it.

This is a cool interview, I think what he's doing is amazing.

Yes...great interview. Good luck to him in his new role. Sounds like he is helping a ton of people.

It was a good interview. I really like the guy. I wish he was still on the team, clean and sober.

I don't know if staying away from coaching is needed to help him stay clean. If that is the case, then it is a loss for football, but worth it.

Satiety is the absence of cravings. Eating lots of fatty ribeyes maximizes satiety. Carbohydrates cause cravings. Eating carbs is like burning kindling. Eating fatty ribeyes is like throwing a big log on the fire. Diets can have negative or positive effects on addictions. Addicts are always nutrient deficient.

Poor guy has relapsed 3 times. Gotta be extra hard for a dude who is wired like that. I hope he makes it this time.

It probably helps to not have VIP access to team doctors 24 hours a day.

There is a huge downside to being cut off from legal opioids of known dosage. Kentucky is one of the few states that requires testing for metabolites to identify the actual substances that caused each fatal OD. In almost every case street drugs caused the death.

To better tackle the epidemic, Kentucky needed to know which drugs were causing lethal overdoses.

Is your point that doctors should simply prescribe opioids to addicts for notother reason than that they'd go to the streets for dirty drugs?

Not exactly. I think there should be no drug rules for adults. People have a right to consume, or not, whatever they want. Drugs should never be mandated nor prohibited.

Addiction, combined with restricted access and monopoly prices, enslaves. Addiction, free of restricted access and monopoly prices, doesn't cause nearly as much damage. If caffeine and nicotine were policed like heroin people would be killing and dying to obtain those substances.
