Anybody know why they did away with all the old traditional homecoming things?
Older cheerleaders, band alumni back…wouldn’t have know it was homecoming other than king/queen half time.
Maybe just bc it ended up as AU game??

Homecoming probably had at least a little to do with why the crown was lame. It’s the wine and cheese crowd. Lamest crowd of the season every year.

For a lot of logistical reasons, alumni band will be performing during the GT game at the end of the regular season. It's super weird. So, I imagine many parts of homecoming are simply delayed until then.

I did notice the upper level students leaving early but the last 2 minutes of the 1st half seemed to somewhat deflate the crowd. It was freaking ridiculous...2 TV timeouts (over 3 mins each)and 2 each by the teams.
Didn't notice much of a difference in my section (126)
in regards to crowd noise.

The heat got to some of the upper deck on that side. They never got shade.
The game overall just wasn’t exciting.
Agree on that end of 2nd qtr. I left to go piss and get a drink 2:00 time out was back like 30 sec before halftime.

Can't really blame 'em with all the delays.
The spot reviews took a ridiculously long time and let's not forget those bullshite penalties in the 4th qtr.
Another horrible SEC officiating crew.
