Petrino is still a great offensive coach, yep.. I said it!

What are we expecting out of Petrino in year one? His system is much more difficult to learn for a new team. He is NOT to blame for this or any loss at this point. If this were year 1 of Pittman... We would be much more patient. Well, it is year 1 with Petrino.

I mean, the OL is a steaming pile of dog dong at pass protection. More often than now, they rushed and brough heat. And he was running for his life.

We had WR's running free all over the field at times, but Green didn't have time to do what needed to be done. His mechanics are crap when his is being knocked around too much.

Several things can be true at once...
.1. Pittman is not a HC, or HC material. He is learning still in year 5 which is what we hired. He is mediocre at best. But his staff is pretty good, if we had the talent/time imho
2. Nil sucks at Arkansas, it will not get better without a coaching change... and probably won't even then unless the wins begin. A fresh beginning is not a gurantee, especially with our HC options we are seeing going around.
3. The Oline Sucks at pass protection.
4. The Defense is not strong enough to hold a lead.
5. Talen Green is talented, but still very raw and being knocked around too much. He may be a very servicable Qback, with protection.
6. Hey... How bout our FG Kicker today? is this a positive

I had 5 tix, and a parking pass offered to me for free to this game. Couldn't go because of work responsibilities.. They were given to a veteran and family. Hope they had a great time, other than the loss.
