Is it time for UGA and Kirby to make the switch, as Saban did, to a dual threat QB? Bennett was more of a dual threat than beck ever was and he won two natties.

I say yes. I think the days of the pocket passer are waning and I think it's time . We need a QB who can pull it down and run.

Also we have GOT to spend more time and NIL on WRS . It's time imo.

I don’t agree with this take at all. UGA was far more banged up, was on the road, had 4 turnovers and a safety, Bama had some good predetermined play calls, and every 50/50 catch Bama made. With all those things, it’s crazy it ended out close.

Ya but man what an asset it would be to have a QB tuck and run.

Bennett was much more of a dual threat than beck

When a pocket quarterback shits the bed, it's way too easy for fans to divert to "we need a running quarterback."

Mac Jones was the quarterback in between Jalen/Tua and Bryce Young/Milroe and Mac Jones was the quarterback of the greatest Bama offense in history.

It’s tough to say because guys like Milroe are so rare but I’ve been saying for years that the way we call offense doesn’t really take advantage of all the offensive benefits in the rule book. We make it easier for teams to stop us than it should be when all the guys don’t execute. An offense like Bama or even Tennessee or something, you can have a guy miss a block but because your qb can move better or because of your alignments it doesn’t automatically mean a negative play.

Ok well then at the least we need to go out and get some fricking WRS.

Out guys couldn't get seperation for shite and we don't have a home run threat .

If you aren’t going to have some absolute difference makers in WR then hopefully you have them in RB or TE. TBD on what we actually have.

Here's all I know ... in pretty much every game we have lost to Bama recently their QB was better than ours and that was the difference in the game.

Beck was responsible for 4 turnovers and a safety. How the frick can any team overcome that? The fact we still had a chance to win is crazy and disappointing at the same time. It says that if the QB played cleaner with the ball we probably win.

Yeah. The funny thing is Milroe is the one with a tendency in the past to make boneheaded turnovers. I’m guessing many times the turnovers could easily go the other way.

We had a couple turnovers because Bama was reading our plays. They were breaking on the ball before Beck stared down the receivers. We got a safety because the O Line didn’t protect on an obvious blitz.

Yeah idk if getting away from a pocket passer is the right thing to do.

Jalen miltoe is known for not reading defenses correctly and making bone headed turn overs.

Ideally you would want a pocket passer with juuuuuusssst enough legs to get a few first downs in a game.

Our problem is we do not have an elite WR/TE/HB. Idk how but we missed recruiting these guys and it shows up in these kind of games.
