Listening to CNS today he mentioned the pulse of team on college game day
Something on his mind talking on QB changes.

I am totally convinced team didnt give full support to Jalen's replacement

Well, that USF coach also seems to dial up a pretty good plan. Not going to take anything away from either. Played Bama very tough this year as well for 3 qtrs. Say what you will about the tackle situation, but the talent differential between the two is enormous. No business letting the stick around for more than a quarter regardless of a couple of positions this year or the weather last year.

And, factor in that Bama, even under Saban, historically has a shite week 2 game for whatever reason.

Hard to believe all those "high character" guys would react that way, but ...

Considering USF played us pretty well again. It could just be the matchups

Ty has stuck around through 2 separate portal seasons. No way he does that if the team hung him out to dry.

No, don’t believe the team tanked for Jalen. With a better OL, Bama had the same problems with USF’s pass rush this year. Last year they used a safety rushing the passer vs Proctor who gave him fits.

It’s possible that some on the team subconsciously weren’t enthusiastic about Rees giving the start to his favorite, but IMO, the thought that the team deliberately tanked a game is ridiculous, especially since Saban said last years’ team was his favorite since they were open to coaching and improved so much.
