Bama needed a miracle on 4th and 100,000 miles to beat a putrid Auburn team that ended up with a losing record. After that, according to their fans, our fans, the media, freaking goat herders in Bulgaria!!.... they had NO chance against us in the SECCG, right?

NO one seems to be talking about that too much. Just figured I'd throw out that little tidbit for us to ponder between now and Saturday.

Playing like crap in one game and then having two weeks to prepare for the next game is boner-inducing for a coach like Kirby, especially a big revenge game.

When fans start douting the players and the players may start doubting themselves, that's when we're most likely to kick the shite out of the other team.

I remember Bama beating the shite out of us last year in the SEC CG.

When was that? We lost by 3 points right? Including a goal line turnover

And a rare missed FG from Woodring.

If you just look at box score, it was a close game. If you watched the game, bama dominated 4 quarters

TBF I haven't watched that game a second time so my memory may be hazy. I remember a close game, not really a manhandling on either side of the ball

Your memory is wrong/hazy.

We scored some garbage time points to make it close. Bama dominated the game.

You could say that about the ill-fated Blackout game in 2008. In no universe would I have described the 2023 SECCG as a dominant performance from Alabama.

I wouldn't say Bama dominated, but they caught a couple breaks and made big plays when they had to. We didn't.
