Replace that with a picture of me watching the game on television.

True, lowest housing prices in the nation for what you get imo

They are literally passing the NIL expense down to the fans, mainly alumni like it’s some god damn hidden tuition fee, and we aren’t even in college anymore.

400.00 and 500.00 tickets are the answer it will sell less tickets and more people will watch from home.

Well, that’ll be a punchline when they start losing some games

Inundated with more ads than ever before. Even if you skip commercials.

Revenue sharing with athletes.

But it was supposed to come out of the $100M each school gets annually for being a member, not the school gets the $100M and the fans fork over the $20M for payroll.

Every school will do this, Tennessee is just the first one. In 2025 is when revenue sharing starts with players, $22 million a year!

Have you actually attended football games at Tennessee without buying a ticket on the secondary market? Face Value for the ticket that UT sells is several hundred dollars cheaper than what you will buy them in the secondary market.
This year Tennessee has 7 home games, Tennessee is selling season tickets in the lower level for $785 in the north and south end zones. This comes to $112 a ticket! Issue is that theirs a 15,000 person wait list for season tickets. Also when the school sells its single game tickets, they are not selling tickets for $400 for Jon premium seating.
Stubhub, Ticketmaster, and other 3rd party sites are the issue. They are charging fees to the seller and buyer of each ticket along with people selling $100 tickets for $800. The Power 4 schools need to band together and go after these ticket sites that charge outrageous fees and also put restrictions on reselling tickets.

This is what our government is doing to the regular person. When our presidents talk about taxing the rich, they really Mens taxing the poor and middle class. The rich corporations are not gonna eat the tax, they just gonna raise their prices in their goods and pass it off to the normal people.

As I said above, it’s coming for all of us. It’s smart for tenn to be first, and I’m sure Chumlee is using it in recruiting.

I am still under the impression our school said we are using money from the conference payout for the payroll. Remember when we fired a bunch of football people during the offseason? That was internal restructuring to free up expense money to be used as payroll. The fans aren’t on the hook for payroll, just NIL if needed.
This looks like some teams are trying to raise the $20M payroll from outside sources or passing the fee to the fans instead of reallocating conference funds internally.
