Kirby says they’re a tough, physical team. Maybe he’s right. They’re better than everyone thinks, played well, Georgia did not have the best game. They seem to play Georgia tough at home every time. I don’t know why it was so surprising that it was close.

Also… UK had the ball for most of the game. There never was any rhythm offensively. I do blame these god damn 5:00 commercial breaks tonight too. Just an overall ugly game. Uk’s only shot was for this specific scenario. We won and we’ll get better. Go Dawgs!

Offense hasn't really looked good all year except for two quarters against Clemson. Tenn Tech doesn't really count but the offense didn't look really good against them either which is why starters played well into the 3rd qtr.
I think we are missing Brock, and maybe Ladd, more than we want to admit.
Whatever it is, they need to get it straightened out quick.

The TE's didn't block worthy anything. That affected the Offense. The DLine got pushed around the entire game. They bend but did not break. I think the game plan was to be conservative and get out with a win.

We have played like shite every time we've played in Lexington since Stoops has been there but we keep getting Ws. He plays too conservative to beat us.
I thought the playcalling tonight was pretty poor and Beck seemed uncharacteristically off. Maybe we were sandbagging for Bama, but we were extremely vanilla for the first 3 quarters.
The defense was bend but don't break and looked a little questionable in run defense tonight (how many times did UK guys bounce off our tacklers?), but we haven't allowed a TD in 3 games. That's nothing to scoff at. Bend but don't break, baby.
It's the old adage; you're never as bad as you look at your worst and you're never as good as you look at your best. I still think we are formidable, but we have a lot to work on. Really concerned at how bad the O-line got whipped tonight.
