Did Wilkes run the 4-2-5 or was that strictly a Baker thing?

Wilks ran a 4 2 5 with a much more passive front 7. It works well in the NFL where you have a roster full of elite athletes. We didn't have the defensive tackle talent to make it work but he and Jethro tried anyway.

I remember Baker saying he kept much of what Wilkes installed. He was though way more aggressive and used the talent we had better. If you remember WIlkes' year the D did improve at the end of the year.

The reason I was wondering is because I thought Baker and Harold Perkins were a perfect match. I thought Perkins would be a JC Carlies type of player. Maybe Baker has a less aggressive approach at LSU.
