We are Kentucky, the standard bearer of college basketball. As you have seen, Cal makes it about Cal, i.e. Cal University. Which should offend you, but I guess when you haven't had success in a long time, you just accept it. Cal will do fine at Arkansas and be a breath of fresh air. .
Pope is a refreshing change as I said because he's blue through and through. He has also proven that with what talent he has been able to recruit, that he can coach. He has a system and he gets players for that system. He's done an amazing job putting together a team from nothing this year that I think might be very good.
We now know that recruiting isn't going to be an issue, so I think if you combine someone who can recruit AND coach, it's makes one pretty excited. We've lacked one of those qualities for a while now. So yes, it's exciting.
