No shock we stay one but the schedule continues to look tough as we face three of the top 6 on the road.

Also Tech jumps in at 23rd and Vandy gets some votes

Full List

1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Texas
4. Alabama
5. Notre Dame
6. Ole Miss
7. Oregon
8. Penn State
9. Missouri
10. Michigan

Notre Dame will inch up the rankings as the rest of the good teams battle it out in the season and then get the shite kicked out of them in playoffs

ND - after they get their almost guaranteed first round home game.

BS they let them have a different set of rules.

It's going to be tough for them to fall out of the Playoff. They'll need to lose all three to GT, Louisville, and USC.

I don't see it currently, but GT is heading up to play Fran Brown and Syracuse. That's a sneaky interesting game, BTW. Kyle McCord looks like a 1stRD QB away from Ohio State, and Cuse looks like a much more competitive squad this season.

If Tech handles Syracuse, ND to the playoff isn't set in stone.

I mean maybe but they also can’t get a bye because of their lack of conference. We’ll see how much a bye week matters in December

They can’t get a bye but also don’t ever have to play in a championship game.

1-They can’t drop any spots by losing that game so 1 fewer game to hurt their position

2-Get two weeks off to get healthy and prepare

3-Have a stronger chance of hosting a first round game. They just have to finish top 8 and it is guaranteed.

Ask me if I would rather play in SEC Championship or have two weeks off and host a game in Athens.

Next season is the season when we could potentially join some elite company.
