I hear my wife fart much more frequently than I hear my dog do it.

I don't know if anyone here has raised daughters or has at some point spent any significant time around a group of middle school-ish aged girls, but good Lord.

Your daughters and their friends fart when they’re at your house?
I don’t remember it being that way when I was a kid. Maybe I was just a sheltered Catholic school kid, but I almost never heard girls fart when I was growing up. It was very much taboo.

A lot of them wore leggings underneath their skirts during the winter.
I said “almost” because there was one girl who was known for being a tomboy who would hang out with the guys instead of the prissy, preppy girls.
There were a few times when she decided to let out a huge fart and rattle the benches we were sitting on. The whole bench would vibrate and rattle. She was really down to earth and cool. Definitely not prissy.

Why are you asking this question anyway? Do your wife and dog both fart a lot?
