FedEx St. Jude Championship Rd 3:
Nick Dunlap – 67-65-66, -12, 2nd.
Justin Thomas – 67-70-71, -2, T39.

Dunlap is 5 strokes back.

A solo 2nd finish would vault Dunlap to 12th in the FedEx Cup standings. He's going to need a Top 5 finish to move into the Top 50, and advance to the next event.

Great season for Nick! Sprinted to 2nd early at the BMW but a horrendous mistake cost him 2 strokes before the lightning delay and he never really got it going for more than a half round stretch here or there.

Got to follow him a bit in Memphis and at the Arnold Palmer. The score keeper threw me a sign ball after the round

Can’t wait to see how he navigates his 2nd season on tour

My son and I followed Nick on Friday at Memphis for his last 5 holes. Great tournament to go to. Top 70 players and not very many fans before the weekend.

We most likely crossed paths that day

I too followed him for his last 5 holes(I had had a black and white polo with black shorts). He and JV were slowwww

It felt like a 30 minutes wait from the 2nd to last group to them when I reach the 10th tee box.
