Odd fact: Charlie Strong and I went to the same high school.

Me as well. I asked permission mostly because of our renewed games which I hope will be yearly. I was born in 1956 and was old enough to follow the program in the mid 60s. Texas week was always a big deal in the state. I remember my grandpa, who went to church every time the door was open, jokingly pick back and forth with my uncle Woody, who was a big whiskey drinking oil man in Baytown. Grandpa never had these type of conversations about anything with anyone, but it was mostly in fun.
I intend to not abuse the privilege
Just don’t hold it against me if I defend my program on the rant, you have some unsavory trolls over there…haha.
Btw, I expect you to win easily this year.

I think the SEC plans to make us yearly opponents some time in the future, I remember reading that on IT (Inside Texas).

Oh I won't hold anything against anyone on the rant. That is over there. It's kinda like Vegas what happens on the rant stays on the rant. But over here is a little different. And I can tell the difference in friendly banter and just nonsense.

Seriously, I was not actually alive when the SIAA was founded but am old enough to sit at the table with those who did tho these days my memory is not once it used to be and my eyes are not as strong. I also hate this auto fill and auto correct as it puts words in my pixels.
My ties to the state of Texas precede their statehood but is accompanied by sadness of those now buried in the soil there. My real shot at true love was from a small town in the state till a drunk driver cut short her life. If your wife drives you to drink, please let her so the driver is safe and sober.

That they do. Also, when threads are started now that we have some people in here. For me, would you keep the naming of the old players to a minimum please sir? I know its your thing, but just try not to just bombard every thread with it please sir. Thanks man. Not trying to be an arse about it. Just saying, try to do it sparingly. Im not saying you cant do it. Im saying just keep it, you know, reasonable. Thats all im asking. I mean im not gonna just ban people for no reason. Unless you are a know troll, or you are well known about how bad you suck as a poster. Then its a different story.

I barely do it on any board anymore after a really really straightforward PM i got from chicken a while back 
But im from Texas and my sister and most of my friends went to UT. So i try not so say bad things about tHorns though that might get harder.
