67. I remember guys like Robin Parkhouse, John Mitchell, Wilbur Jackson, Don McNeal. Jim Bob Harris and Tommy Wilcox were All-American DBs and may very well have been as good as those of recent years.
One of the most outstanding running backs from that era was Johnny Davis. A stat that would be unheard of in this era is the fact that...and I'm pretty sure this is correct...he was never tackled for a loss until his senior year. He led the team in rushing 3 straight years. But in today's era, there isn't much use for a Wishbone fullback as an every down player.
