I have Oklahoma only dropping two games while Texas loses three. I really think the Aggies will be much improved and will get it done at home against the short horns while Oklahoma struggles with God's team and Ole Miss.

Oklahoma will go to the playoffs though from hype of beating Bama and only having two losses against that schedule while Texas sits at home imo.

Texas:

Aug 31, 2024 -Colorado St. (Win)

Sep 7, 2024 Michigan (Win)

Sep 14, 2024 - UTSA (win)

Sep 21, 2024 -UL-Monroe (win)

Sep 28, 2024 - Miss. State (win)

Oct 12, 2024 - Oklahoma (loss)

Oct 19, 2024 - Georgia (loss)

Oct 26, 2024 - Vanderbilt (win)

Nov 9, 2024 - Florida (win)

Nov 16, 2024 - Arkansas(win)

Nov 23, 2024 - Kentucky (win)

Nov 30, 2024 - Texas A&M (loss)

Oklahoma

Aug 30, 2024 - Temple (win)

Sep 7, 2024 - Houston (win)

Sep 14, 2024 - Tulane (win)

Sep 21, 2024 - Tennessee (loss)

Sep 28, 2024 - Auburn ( close win)

Oct 12, 2024 - Texas ( close win)

Oct 19, 2024 - South Carolina (win)

Oct 26, 2024 - Ole Miss ( close loss)

Nov 2, 2024 - Maine (win)

3-9 (0-8) for Texas

The SEC is incredibly big and scary, as the longhorns learned all too well against the SEC champion in Tuscaloosa last year

8-4 is likely for both

7-5 is not unlikely either

Auburn beats Oklahoma. The emotional high of their first SEC game against Heupel followed up by a trip to Jordan-Hare.

Old Sarge nailed it last year
quote:

an above average season for them, so 6 wins
So if Sarge predicts 6 wins and Texas wins 12, then when he predicts 8 wins this year, he actually means 14!

Thanks, Sarge! I knew you were always a believer!!

Over the same time period you’ve averaged 6-6

I’m not sure why you were bragging about it but you guys do celebrate some weird things

In the past two seasons:

Texas: 20 total wins (average 10 per season)

Texas A&M: 12 total wins (average 6 per season)

Why do you tee them up like this for us?

The SEC posters here will come to know what all hat no cattle means when it comes to Texas football fans vs Texas football trophies.

The disparity in difficulty on the new guys' schedules is so wild to me.

From the top Texas gets:

UGA

From the bottom Texas gets:

MSU
Vandy
Arkansas

From the top OU gets:
Bama
LSU
Ole Miss
Tennessee (like it or not they've been formidable lately)

From the bottom OU gets:

South Carolina

In 2023 (the most recent season), Texas finished No. 3 in the country and played in the CFP semifinals. Not the result we wanted, but valiant effort nonetheless.

A&M has never and will never finish in the top 3 nor will they participate in the CFP semifinals in your entire life.

How is an a&m fan talking about "all hat and no cattle"?

You mentioned a 6 win average. I was simply pointing out that you had your teams mixed up.

Sorry for reminding you of your school's futility
