I think the way people have made it so you can't talk about politics in general is part of the problem.
When I was a kid, it wasn't such a big deal and people just accepted that people had different political opinions.
These days you got people who lose their fricking minds anytime someone doesn't 100% agree with them on every topic. They don't know how to act and be accepting of other peoples opinions while having civilized discussion.
