I love all these rankings having OU low and tx high.

This is a well reasoned video:

this is where the crazy will be in the SEC this fall -

quote:

3. Ole Miss Rebels
4. Alabama Crimson Tide
5. Missouri Tigers
6. LSU Tigers
7. Tennessee Volunteers
8. Oklahoma Sooners
one or two from here will challenge -

quote:

1. Georgia Bulldogs
2. Texas Longhorns
to steal a bid to Atlanta -

those top 8 all have a legit chance at one of the 12 CFP spots - regardless of who plays in Alanta -

quote:

16. Vanderbilt Commodores
Vandy is 2-38 in SEC games since 2019 - both wins coming in 2022 on consecutive weekends - congratulations to Kentucky & Florida

eta - check that - Vandy is 3-38 since 2019 - Missouri got got too along with UK & UF -

I agree it’s football and injuries happen a lot.
Long season tough games.
Not everyone has several 4 and 5 star backups ready to go.

OU’s Vegas o/u is 7.5. Which means the people that know football better than anyone on the planet think OU has a losing record in conference.

Georgia is getting a push despite their schedule. Going to Tuscaloosa, Austin, and Oxford is no picnic this year. For a frickin' change.

Its interesting to me that I'm their inaugural seasons, Texas gets to play almost all of the teams listed at the bottom, while Oklahoma has to play almost all the teams listed at the top

People have said the SEC created schedules in line with each team's performance over the last decade. Sounds like bullshite to me but it would explain our schedule. Or we just told Sankey who we were going to play.

You have a real East-like schedule.

Well except for the annual game the teams with the hardest ones this year get some relief next season as long as next seasons opponents don't improve a lot.

Pretty sure I've read that they're keeping the same opponents, just flipping home/away for next year.

With the new additions and schedule changes, it is going to more difficult to predict the SEC than ever.

Very reasonable observation. I agree. It's going to be a fun season.
