It's college baseball. The shelf life for excitement and news outside of the team that won is about 12 hours. No one on the outside really gives a shite, there's just shite else going on.

Are you serious? It’s a nice win but wasn’t a dramatic series, no Cinderella story, just the BaseVols getting over the hump. We are doing a parade that pretty much shut dow Knoxville. In a few days coach Vs extension will go public.

They all but shut down the Alcoa highway for the folks greeting them at McGhee Tyson earlier. I work behind the airport and was heading through Maryville instead of towards Knoxville.
It’s almost like the rough plan was in place already for this to happen. You can already buy the merch including wine and champagne to commemorate winning.
