It doesn't really work like that when looking at the conference record.

So why mention it about Duke and Wake aggregate in the ACC regular season and tournament games? Unless things work differently everywhere else.

Should LSU host - No but they are a 2 seed.

valid point.

And the truth is, we can't look at what any other conference is doing, because even the ACC can't match up with the SEC. That's not conference pride, that seems to be fact.

Currently 4 of the top 5 national seeds.
UGA seemingly STILL a top 8 national seed, despite "just" going 17-13, and 0-1 in the SEC tourney.
Florida seemingly safely, apparently not even last 4 in- at 28-27 overall, 13-17 conference, 0-1 in conference tourney.

If UGA and Florida could afford to go one and done, that speaks volumes about the SEC. The crazy thing is how Miss State doesn't have a regional locked up yet, all things considered. If they don't host, I think it means the committee just capped how many each conference can get.

Its not irrelevant, but it's not as meaningful as actual weekend series in conference.
