If Kirby had the choice, the lawsuit wouldn't have been filed.

Kirby did have the choice. He looks like he took a flyer on a player who just picked his 4th school in a year. It has been reported that "he gave his blessings." Do you honestly believe that Kirby wouldn't mind all the negative press this brings to his main rival?

Kirby isn't the plaintiff.
It isn't kirby's choice.

Rashada ran it by kirby.
That doesn't make it kirby's choice.

Kirby doesn't want a distraction for his team.
Great coaches worry about their own team. Not the one a state away.

Rashada is the 3rd string qb.
And (thankfully) lawyers do ALL of the lawyering. Rashada's job is to learn the offense, help his teammates, and stay out of trouble.
Filing the suit is righting a wrong.
It is not finding or inserting trouble.

I think that is understating Rashada.
He is a good QB who could use elite weapons and an elite OL. He may be able to develop into a better QB than that. Mike Bobo is a good QB coach.
This is not a "flyer" on a kid. By everything I have read, Rashada was an ideal teammate and great athlete at Arizona St.
If you have something more to share, then go ahead.

Saying that Smart "gave his blessings" is an attempt by some reporter to create controversy. I'm pretty positive Kirby never said those words, so your quote marks are meaningless.

The Rashada's informed Kirby of their intent to sue and asked if that lawsuit would affect his status at UGA. Kirby said it wouldn't. He didn't encourage or "bless" a private lawsuit against Florida's coach/booster.
