The likelihood of getting shot at 3 am in that particular parking lot is astronomical compared to 3pm.

People never learn and most of us live and say in retrospect ''what the hell was I thinking doing that"!!

Of course, we don't all make it through these situations solely caused stupid decisions.

Pretty significantly higher anywhere in the US I’d say comparing the two time frames.

Look, probably every one of us that lives in a city of 50k or more knows areas that aren’t just more dangerous than others it’s a lot more dangerous. If you frequent bars you know which ones just seem to attract more trouble.

They don’t, society screams to the heavens that anything bad that happens is someone else’s fault. Personal responsibility not only isn’t taught, it’s actively discouraged. When you’re young and prone to doing stupid shite anyway this compounds the problem.

I feel sorry for the family who has lost one son and may yet lose another. I don’t feel sorry for the people injured that night, it certainly looks like they were looking for trouble and found it.
