Scheffler should have stopped, but IN NO WAY was he endangering anyone by driving around the issue at less than 10 miles per hour. This is a stupid point of view. Cop should have used some discretion and deescalated some as well.

Except the PGA had instructed golfers to do exactly what he did, and other golfers did so before Scottie even arrived, which again makes this exactly what most Louisville officials have already said: it's just a misunderstanding.
He wasn't asking for special treatment. He was doing exactly what every other golfer and PGA employee was instructed to do

Judging from everything I've read about this, all of the golfers were told to just bypass the traffic and drive in. Scottie likely didn't realize there was an accident scene and thought it was just traffic.
Seems like a huge nothingburger.

It didn't even sound like an accident scene. A tour bus was abandoned at the entrance. The accident was down the road.
