It was added with Kentucky late in an attempt to make Confederate support look larger than it really was. Anyone who knows anything about Civil War history would know this

Thats false. Kentucky and Missouri had confederate governments that were recognized by the confederate congress. And they held represenatives there from those two states. And they were not added ''late. They were added in 1861. The confederacy considered them apart of their ''nation''. Just like the USA considered all confederate states as part of their nation.
