It's a disingenuous stance.
The STL Post Dispatch reported that Mizzou was prepared to make a competing offer to Baker so it would seem that money was the only factor in his decision.

That's doubtful. If these guys coming in for visits just flat out say "show me the money" then maybe, but they ain't, just like BB didn't. Do they want as much $$$ as they can get? Sure, but it's on him for thinking the LSU culture was the only thing he needed, and it's on the recruiting staff for that cringy Callin Baton Rouge schtick.
