College sports eligibility is such a weird thing. You can forego your college years to play a professional sport, then return to college and play a different sport with no questions asked. He's ten years older than the other freshmen on Arkansas roster

Soccer is even weirder! You can play pro soccer over seas and come to the United States and be a 21 year old freshman in college. Granted you can’t be under contract of a pro team and play college at the same time. But coaches in the United States recruit the international market for soccer players more because of the rules are different for international players. The American kid is at a disadvantage when a college coach can go get a grown man that’s 21 years old that’s been cut from his pro team and bring him to the United States to play college. It’s unfair truths be told!
