This is a lie. That TCU DT who went to OU made it crystal clear he was leaving TCU to get more NIL money. His handler publicly said so. He wouldn't have visited Baton Rouge without a nice offer on the table.

LSU may not be buying players but that is only because they are trying to buy players and are failing.

Have you idiots bothered to check our recruiting class for next year? If we don't have NIL money then explain to me how we have the #1 player in the country locked in and he's from Michigan of all places. Now, Kelly's strategy may suck and it's not looking good, but its unreasonable to pay Damonic Williams more than any player on your team and more than many of your coaches.

All of the LSU starters have NIL deals. Offering a package that includes NIL is not the same as bidding on a player until you get his signature.
