Its just so weird looking at Auburn's schedule and not seeing LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State.

I can't imagine what you're going through...wait...yes I can...we experienced the same thing over 30 years ago. Between 1956 and 1991, Tennessee played Ole Miss 34 times. The only years they didn't play during that stretch were: 1970 & 1971. Since 1991, they have played 8 times.

By comparison...since 1991, Auburn and Ole Miss have played...you guessed it, 34 times. Before that...they had only played 15 times since the inception of the SEC in 1932.

Auburn is losing their annual matchup with LSU...a team they played a total of 17 times between 1934 and 1991.

The only "real" long-term rivalry that Auburn is losing is Mississippi State.

Heck...let's talk about Auburn vs Tennessee. Between 1956 and 1991, Tennessee and Auburn played every season (36 consecutive seasons). Since 1991, they have played 11 times.

So...yes, things will change. But we were able to deal with it in the expansion of 1992...and again with the expansion of 2012. We will deal with it again.
