I kind of like the way UGA runs their passing offense better than teams who have a single talented receiver who gets all their teams passing yards.

UGA had 4,200 passing yards last year, good enough for 5th in the nation.

But their leading pass catcher (A TE) had 714 yards. They had 11 players with at least 100 yards through the air. 22 players recorded a catch.

By comparison, Mizzou had 3400 yards through the air last year. Their leading pass catcher had 1200 yards and they only had 10 players who even recorded a catch last season, with only 7 of those over 100 yards.

I think spreading the ball around to a lot of players is better than relying on one or two guys. If you do the latter, you can be destroyed by an injury. UGA lost their #1 and #4 receivers for large chunks of the season (Bowers and McConkey) yet the offense really didn't get derailed.

Individual stats are overrated.
