Is there any scenario in the future because of all of this NIL, becoming a semi pro type of structure, where someone may declare early, possibly not make the team or practice squad, and realize they can make more money in college with remaining eligibility and they come back? I don’t think it’s a stretch. We are definitely in uncharted waters.

I doubt it. They're more likely to fix NIL than turn it into a pro structure.

Interesting idea. There is no doubt that NIL has played a role in some college football and basketball players deciding to return to their college team for another year. Expanding this idea is the college “buying them back”…. Who knows what will happen…
