LSU lost out on significantly improving Alex Box when it let LSU's "God", Skip Bertman, design the park. He went cheapo, especially when he simply brought across the street the Old Box's RF & LF metal bleachers. Re Dudy Noble, I still laff remembering this line from a former LSU player: "Skip's scouting report always emphasized making sure to know which way the wind was blowing the bar bq smoke. Wind wasn't the concern, it was the amount of smoke."
