There was no tournament in 2020. So yes, the last 5 tournaments Auburn and UAT have had a final 4. Again, if you want to use semantics, let’s use the last 6 years. It’s still the same. What makes it difficult for you and other UAT fans to acknowledge that Auburn is as good at basketball as your team? Why is that physically impossible for you to admit that Pearl is a good coach? And tell me you know nothing about basketball without telling me you know nothing about basketball when you can’t be objective about the talent disparity between Auburn and UAT in the past 6 years. Auburn has had 3 first rounders in that time frame, but other than those players, the rest of the roster was playing above their abilities.

Bro, we’re using the last 5 seasons because that’s the only seasons that Oats and Bruce coached in the same conference. You want to count a season prior to Oats getting to Bama, because it makes Bruce look better. The fact is, Bruce has had absolutely zero success beyond the round of 64 in the NCAAT since Oats arrived. It’s a literal, undeniable fact…that newly minted AU basketball fans can’t seem to grasp.

There’s literally zero chance that KY, Arky, UNC, Duke, Kansas, or any other knowledgeable basketball fanbase would be taking the stance you guys are!!! In fact, Bruce would now be on the hot seat if he was at any of those programs. Heck, KY was about to fire Cal and give him $30mm for 5 yrs of tournament ineptitude and he had a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WIN, NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP LOSS, and pretty sure at least 1 other final four! You guys know so little about basketball, it’s painful.
